St Aidan’s Church Hall was built in 1971 and is used by a variety of outside organisations as well as our own Church activities. The facility comprises a large hall which can provide seating and tables for over 100 people with a proscenium stage. The Robinson Room suitable for groups of 30, a fully fitted kitchen with the adjacent Hadfield Room which is primarily used ancillary to the kitchen as a preparation and service area but which also doubles as a small meeting room.

Regular Users…On Sunday mornings, the hall and the Hadfield and Robinson Rooms are used by the Sunday School groups, followed by coffee for everyone after the morning service. Once a month, except in summer, we also serve a Sunday lunch for those living alone within the local community. Other regular users are the Flower Arrangers, Ladies Guild, Men’s Group and Toddlers Groups. External groups such as Old Time Dancers, Scottish Country Dancers and Yoga groups are regular users.

Facilities…General facilities include toilets, one with disabled access, and a kitchen with 2 cookers and a large water boiler. Users of the hall and kitchen must provide their own cooking utensils and crockery.
